Fencott Cytological Fixative is used as a dehydrating agent in the processing of histological (tissue) and cytological (cell) tissue samples for pathological diagnosis that requires a high-quality conditioning of tissue samples.

Fencott Cytological Fixative preserves histological and cytological tissue samples in a life-like manner, producing a water-soluble film that dries over slides and produces a tough protective covering for the fixation of cytology slides in preparation for storage or transport.

The chemical reagents used as fixatives are those which will preserve the tissue components in a life-like manner. The fixative is manufactured and supplied in an easy to use 100ml aerosol for ease of application.
